American Veteran Magazine

American Veteran is a semi-annual publication produced by the Communications Department at AMVETS National Headquarters. First published in June 1946, the AMVETS magazine has evolved and changed. While offered for $0.25 in 1946, they are able to provide complimentary copies to today's members and reduced subscription rates to members of the National Ladies Auxiliary, National Sons of AMVETS, and AMVETS Riders. Always featuring issues affecting both active duty members and veterans, American Veteran magazine is committed to providing them with a voice.

AMERICAN VETERAN magazine is read by  AMVETS members and nearly an equivalent ancillary audience when it appears every other month digitally.

About Magazines - Membership

Unique in the magazine profile, membership magazines not only reach a defined audience, they reach "joiners." Membership magazines are a member benefit and communication tool to those that belong to a pre-defined group. Because the communication is coming from a trusted source, advertisers benefit from the implied endorsement of the group or organization carrying the offer. Demographic targets are generally highly defining, and offer regular and scalable distribution. Advertising options are predominantly on-page or page plus card.
